Dharma Protectors

In the Buddha Sutra, the Eight-fold Divisions are the Heavenly     beings, dragons, yakshas, gandarvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras and Mahoragas.  They are the Dharma Protectors of Buddha Dharma.  Except for heavenly beings who look like humans the others do not look exactly like men so they are known as the non-humans.
